| - This is my favorite restaurant by far! Being a vegan it is hard to find a place that will have options for me that isn't just a salad and that will actually fill me up. Green is always delicious and I feel like I ate a great meal after leaving!
Not only is the food great but the customer service is as well. I have only once had a cashier that was not 100% pleasant and helpful, and I have been here many times! I have taken meat eaters here and there are no complaints. The first time eating at Green was weird because the mock chicken was almost too realistic, the texture is phenomenal!
One warning I will give is that if you are allergic to soy, this is not your place. Every meal has a soy element (tofu, soy milk, etc.), so if you can not consume soy you have to ask for the meal without some of the key ingredients.
I have a sister who is vegetarian and although we are both about a half hour drive from Green we try to eat there as often as we can. Its that good! To add her two cents, she is very picky about mock meats. Every other vegan/vegetarian place we have tried has her saying "I don't like this as much as Green."
My favorites are the Original "G" Spicy Po Boy, the Big Wac, and the Crab Puffs. My mom is a big fan of the Black Jack Pita as well! And although their coleslaw is great, I think the thyme fries are some of the best fries I have ever had!
Gluten free? No problem! There is a whole menu of items that are already or can be made gluten free. Counting calories? There are lots of delicious salads! Want to stuff your face full of delicious fried awesomeness? You have come to the right place!
I HIGHLY recommend Green to vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores alike!
