Bob came to our home for the initial consultation and met our Pit rescue Duke, after that it's all history. Duke showed severe dog aggression and protective behaviors when visitors would stop in. Additional negative behaviors which we were unable to address included getting on furniture when we were not home, jumping in the pool when we did not want him to, and scaling the back fence barking at the neighbors dogs. The dog on dog aggression became so severe that we began scheduling our walk early in the morning to limit chances of our boy seeing other dogs.
It was unfortunate because we have had many rescues in the past which were wonderful. Given his temperament and a child on the way we knew that we required professional assistance. Bob was able to pick up immediately on Duke's behaviors, not only his behaviors but what caused these behaviors. Within two sessions with Bob we were able to remedy all negative behaviors in our home and take Duke on walks without worries of over reaction at the site of another dog. Additionally, we were able to teach commands such as quiet, we wanted him to remain alert but be quiet when we gave the command. Also "pillow" he now knows to go to his pillow and remain there while we eat dinner.
I cannot say enough about Bob's help and knowledge of our canine friends and how to properly live side by side with them so they remain happy and live structured lives where they know there place. Bob's overall knowledge of all breeds and what it is they are looking for out of their people helped us to become the leaders that Duke was looking for.
Thank you Bob!
