I took my Audi A4 3.2 into Audi of Charlotte for service a couple of times. The friendliness of the staff is fantastic. However, the service department has room for improvement.
* Although the service department fixed my coolant problem, they left several parts on top of the engine as well as not properly pressurizing the coolant system. I needed to take it back and then everything was properly addressed.
* I have a V6 engine but the service department only put in oil as if it were a 4-cylinder engine. The oil light came on and luckily the Audi of Chandler, AZ was able to address it in a timely manner. The Audi of Chandler, AZ mechanics noted not enough oil was put in the engine since my last service.
* Audi of Charlotte did a great job on my rear brakes but charged me nearly $100 for a tire rotation that somehow took my car out of alignment. Also, the service department failed to put in the proper amount of tire pressure in the tires. Luckily Goodyear took care of everything and Audi of Charlotte later adjusted my bill.
Note: Audi of Chandler, AZ did not charge me for a tire rotation when my front brakes were getting replaced as the tires were already off the car.
The prices at Audi of Charlotte are reasonable but I question the service department and how much you have to keep after them to make sure everything is done right. Can be a little frustrating.
