  • The first time I was taken to "The Duck" was six years ago when my (now hubby) took me there for lunch. I had just flown in from Seattle to meet him (we met online) and we were staying at Squaw Peak so this was a quick jaunt away from the resort. As mezmerized as I was by the uniqueness of AZ and the ecleticness of the area, "The Duck" was like something I had never experienced before. (So you can imagine my surprise when this Seattlelite saw MISTERS for the first time!) The food is fabulous...gourmet sandwiches, salads, chips...I'm hungry just thinking about it! I feel the Duck lends itself to the quick lunch, the relaxing lunch spent listening to the live music or to GIRL TIME with delicious cheese/salads and WINE! And their little gift shop has SO many wonderful things in it...most especially the TEA! I feel safe in saying that "The Duck" very possibly has the BEST iced tea I've ever enjoyed. (Well, it is RIGHT up there with PF Chang's and The GreenHouse at the very least!) Please do youself and flavor...visit D & D and see for yourself what all the buzz is about...you won't be sorry!
