| - NO NO NO NO NO!!! DO NOT RENT HERE!!! IT'S NOT WORTH IT!
The conditions of first moving into the unit, were disgusting. The unit was never cleaned out from the previous tenants who last lived here. There was a lot of damage-not enough room on the lease documentation to identify all the issues; overly worn appliances and cabinetry, horribly patched spots on the walls (2nd bdrm is filled with patches), the carpets were never washed, electrical outlets are so worn out-they will not hold the plugs securely, don't work at all, and other outlets create this high electrical buzzing sound as if it's gonna blow a fuse...!
During my time living here, I've gone through a bunch of insect infestations; ants, crickets, roaches, and spiders. No matter how many times you direct the complaints to maintenance, nothing's improved. And that goes with the mold issue on the window cills-I'm even having a hard time cleaning them. However, we've persevered through it all and thought we could survive till the lease ends in November...I was wrong.
THIS IS SERIOUS!
Now I'm at my breaking point with this place...! I can't stand bad tenants...! Since the new tenants moved in directly above us, they've been horrible-filthy, scary horrible!
They use their patio as a kennel for their dog. This is sad to have a dog secluded from the rest of the home and these indecent owners can't walk their pet. AND they've been washing the animal's feces and urine off their patio which spills into our patio!? WTH, are you kidding me?! I've taken pictures, made video recordings and directed my complaints more than enough times to the management team for to do nothing at all! This is a biohazard!
You hear the kids running a muck all hours of the day, sometimes I wonder if the parent's are even home monitoring these guys... The constant yelling and screaming, thuds and bangs from the floor and walls; at first you think okay...the kids are a lil rambunctious (that's describing it nicely). But when you hear a woman crying and screaming with a man furiously beating and yelling in the bedroom directly above yours, that's when your heart sinks! Last night my family heard a huge crash, striking my daughters bedroom wall, which correlates to the living room wall. Her room is right above theirs. She was struggling to sleep from the noise above. I was in the living room at the time. That moment of impact the vibrations were intense-ricocheting both sides of the wall! From the living room, frames fell to the ground, the desk lamp jumps off the desk table! My daughter, runs out of her room frantic-scared to death (has high anxiety) telling me that her wall caved in from the blow!? I couldn't believe it at first, I had to see it-it's real (pics)! That massive vibration created a freakin whole in our wall?! Instantly called 911 and called the complex's maintenance number as well! OMG, I cannot believe what I experienced-I was so heated!? After the cops finally arrived. They investigated the crater in the bedroom and searched the room as I explained the situation and mentioned what went on up stairs, searched outside next to our apartment windows. They took my daughter aside behind closed doors to interrogate her. They checked her clothes, checked her body for derby and marks ( I'm thinking WTF are they assuming), they found nothing. They even went upstairs, to check on the tenants above. Sadly, the women upstairs (the one screaming bloody murder) claimed they were all asleep by 8pm (what lies)-really?! Long story short, the officers theory was my daughter may have struck the wall from night terrors; granted her bed was no where near that wall, able to extend her leg out. Or she had a boy in the room with her, and he hit the wall and ran out the window, placed the screen cover back on its track. Really?! Right as she ran straight out her door, seconds after that explosion and her bf miraculously got out of the window without shattering the blinds?! They claimed based on the direction of the implode, derby, and have witnessed this situation before; my daughter had caused this?! WTF! I was more concerned about the women upstairs! But after hearing all of this...?!
What happened to being a good samaritan and helping someone before they get brutally beaten to death...?!
I'm done.

I've been abiding by my contract of breaking lease. It's unbelievable the ridiculous fees I'm having to pay to get out of here... I'm glad it's almost over.
