| - Had to try this place after reading all the other reviews and living so close. When I arrived it was definitely not what I expected. I was hoping for a small deli-like store which sold large individual slices for a few dollars a slice. Instead, a large, upscale dining area along with an equally large upscale bar area greet me. Well, I sat at the bar still hoping for the ability to order individual slices, but that idea was quickly quashed. Oh well.
I opted for a small "Big Apple" and my usual ice tea. The pizza was good, the crust was thin, not too crisp, and a bit chewy. After finishing my small pizza, the bartender made a comment about so much for pizza by the slice. I pointed out that I was not worried about quantity, but wanted variety. Service was otherwise great, my ice tea was never empty for very long.
My only complaint would be the prices, as mentioned in other reviews, they are a touch on the pricey side for what you get. If you are on the west side of town, are looking for some good food and good service, Dom's is definitely worth a try.
