  • As many people have mentioned - this place is about as unassuming as you can get. We paused for a second before even going in... is this the place? Set in a charmless industrial zone - exactly where one might find a brewery - it is a perfectly charming scene inside. With just one long table and an old workbench with stools, it's not a big room. If you look to one side, it almost feels like you have just pulled up an overturned bucket in the middle of an industrial workspace, sat down, and ordered a beer. But looking to the other, they have done up the space nicely and it feels like a mini-museum. Natural lighting from a big skylight gives the space an airy glow. It does seem that most people who roll in here are getting beer to go. However, the drink-in prices and sizes are reasonable and encourage staying and having many small tastes. Normally I would have had an Engineers IPA - because I've had it elsewhere and really liked it, but we were there to sample, so we had a Red IPA (which was good) and a Santa Rosa which was interesting in a a good way (a little sour, a little citrus). Great spot for a drop in on a bike ride.
