| - I was here a few weeks ago for a corporate lunch and learn and thought it was a great venue.
Although I took the +15, the stairs led to an open foyer (there's also street entrance) which was great because for the number of people at the registration table, you didn't feel like herded cattle.
The lunch was a build your own sandwich station, and the line moved smoothly and quickly because a) they had the food tables set up so you could access it from both sides and b) items were set up in proper sequence - plates, utensils, food, utensils again (in case you forgot) and then drinks. This is great, no one back tracks or fumbling because they're holding glassware and/or cans while trying to grab food.
Round tables were were set up with chairs only on the half that would be facing the presentation. This may not seem like a big deal for some people, but I think this is smart. Not only are you not cramming as many people to a table, but you don't have people with their backs turned now having to flip their chairs around and not having a surface to write on.
The wait staff cleared plates promptly and were refilling drinks as necessary, always a bonus!
I will keep this place in mind for future corporate gatherings (I know they host Stampede and Christmas parties), the catering and venue staff made this a positive experience!
