| - So after seeing my review, many months later Cynthia Stein (aka. Cindy Houck) emails me and asked me to take it down stating that a new management company is taking over her practice, she was retiring, and she does not want the review to hurt them.
Please Note: She said she was retiring.
First, my review was honest and to ask me to take it down would be to ask me to lie about my experience.
Second, I suspected she was lying.
Now, nearly a year later, when you go to Squirrel Hill Physical Therapy Center's page you see one Cynthia Stein (aka. Cindy Houck). Wow, lies like that and this woman still thinks she is a Christian?
Stay away from this place folks, That's all I can say.
Earlier review:
Among the lines below, I am going to simply paste the message that I submitted to my referring physician via their office web portal that described to her my experience with Cynthia Stein (aka. Cindy Houck). Be advised, this all transpired during my very FIRST (and last) appointment with Cynthia Stein.
-------------------------
Regarding the Squirrel Hill Physical Therapy: The visit was with an individual named Cindy Stein PT (owner) who gives all the impressions of being deranged.
Here are some of the unembellished utterances spoken by Cindy Stein during our 1 hour session while she performed Craniosacral therapy:
1) "I don't really like to get into the dark forces...you know, like the occult. I stay with the light rather than channel the evil spirit healers."
2) "I think your issue is related to past life emotional traumas....you know, we ALL have these things...like starvation, murder, rape...."
3) "You may actually be experiencing a form of Redemptive Suffering here...I mean, we don't know what's going on because this world is so complex no one can ever know..."
4) "It's sort of like the Trinity...the Father, Son, Holy Spirit...you can't just have one and not the other and expect to be well."
5) "I think I can help you."
This logic clearly does not add up. In fact, while in the process of doing some of the exercises she prescribed before I left, I injured my left shoulder - likely a rotator cuff injury. It now pops loudly and is another source of pain. I will need to have a script from you from another at another practice, preferably someone who deals in this terrestrial plane and does not practice Voodoo.
-------------------------
Now that I am being treated by a real Physical Therapist, the very painful injury to my rotator cuff is beginning to heal. Steer clear of Stein, Houck, or whatever she is calling herself these days.
