  • A group of us, around 40 people travel from the northeast to North Carolina each year and 5 of us wanted to test the idea of renting a camper, strictly for the lights at night and hot showers from the days events. I am giving a bad review after multiple attempts over the phone as well as 5-6 hours of our own efforts to fix a generator that wouldn't start, and a hot water heater that wouldn't work. We ended up taking ice cold showers and after working with the roadside service who let us know they wouldn't fix it for us unless we drove over 100 miles from our destination to a shop so they could fix it. In my opinion they should send someone here as we rented this camper to go camping, not to drive all over "hoping" a repair could even be made. As mentioned, this 1 star rating is after several attempts to fix the issue ourselves and calling the service line with no help. ITS NOT BECAUSE OF THE ISSUES, ITS BECAUSE OF HOW THEY WERE HANDLED. We will manage through the rest of our 4 days of vacation with ice cold water showers and running the truck to keep charge on batteries.
