  • This company is very unprofessional. After going to another company to buy the appliances because of Elite Installs treatment and dishonesty, I was told Elites installer/co-owner was bad mouthing me to the installer at the new place I purchased the appliances. This is way beyond the pale of acceptable professional behavior of any company providing a professional service. Amber the other co-owner was also disingenuous in stating they did not get any of the messages I left because I was given a wrong number by the store (Best Buy). I brought this up with the co-owner/installer when he finally came for the appointment and he admitted he had received two of the calls and when I asked him why he did not return the calls he responded "because I have been two busy" So, when Amber states part of the reason they would not do the job was because of how I talked to their installer/co-owner, I feel I as the customer I am the one owed an apology for the rude response of the installer. However, it shows she is not being truthful when she says I was given the wrong number by the store as the reasons for not returning calls. Additionally, Elite only told Best Buy that they did not want to do the job AFTER the store inquired about the discount they offered to provide me on the install price. In fact, I have on my cell phone a message from Amber providing me the price BEFORE the store inquired and there is no mention of not wanting to do the job. I feel the real issue for the installer/co-owner may have been homophobia. After seeing his reaction upon seeing gay themed art work by Andy Warhol on the walls, and a small gay flag on my desk. I cannot verify exactly what he said when he was being unprofessional and talked about me to another installer at the company I went to, but combined with the actions of the installer and lies by Amber, there is definitely other motivations going on behind their behavior and actions. Again, I would say stay clear of this company, especially if you are a gay customer! After posting my review of Elite Installs on this site, as well as Facebook and Twitter, I am happy to have received emails from friends and acquaintances saying they are horrified and would never use Elite and will repost on their Facebook and Twitter pages.
