| - Recently, I had to get a P.O. Box for a business venture. The UPS Store is very close to where I live, so I stopped in to get a price. I talked to who turns out to be the manager, and she was really nice. She went over everything with me.
I asked what happened if I paid for one of the small boxes and I got more mail than would fit, or if I got a package. She said that I'd get an email letting me know the situation.
I said I'd be back because I wanted to check out getting an actual P.O. Box. I went to the Post Office, and 2 minutes in there talking to the postal work was all I needed to convince me I wasn't going to deal with the Post Office. USPS can't even figure out how to put a system in place to tell you which location has a PO Box available (there was a waiting list at the location I went to), let alone email you if you get a package. Back to the UPS Store I went.
The manager helped me fill out all the paperwork, explained things I needed help with, and was generally pleasant.
A few days later, I got an email when a package arrived. The manager saw me come in and had my package waiting. She said she was excited when she saw a package for me, and asked if I received an email. She was clearly thrilled that the system worked and that I had received an email.
What great service. I've been to this location before to pack & ship stuff, and overall I'm very impressed with the service.
If you need a mailbox, go to the UPS Store. You'll be happy you did.
