I picked this place based on the fact that it was $20 less than the Hyatt next door, and I needed a hotel close to Tempe Beach Park for a race I was running. It was clean, comfortable, and overall a decent value for the money. The knocks on this place are the bed (uncomfortable and the mattress needed to be replaced), and the a/c. I was a little surprised and disappointed at the air conditioning unit mounted under the window, which was a little louder than I would have liked. It also made the place seem dated. It's OK, but it's not generally what I expect from a Marriott property.
