  • I really love this place. I'm sure I'll update as I continue my patronage, but I'm so happy with Sognatore. First of all, I was roughly an hour late to my scheduled appointment, which I was able to book online. I love being able to book online and having a good idea of the prices, which Sognatore offers. Unfortunately Sognatore is located within the Pennsylvanian. I had never been to the Pennsylvanian and the parking was confusing to say the least. I went around and around the building to no avail. It really didn't help that there was a Chainsmokers concert and a Pirates game all going on around the same time. So if you read my review, you have to park in front of the Pennsylvanian by entering the lot through a sign that says "Buses Only". Don't worry I'm pretty sure the sign is just a deterrent for the general traffic. Sognatore is also on the 10th floor. So after driving around for an hour, you'd think I'd have a pretty negative review, but that's just the point! The actual salon is great enough that the hassle was worthwhile, plus I now know that my future trips won't have the same issues. My stylist was willing to almost completely revamp my hair. The shampoo, conditioner, and other products they used were all top notch and felt wonderful. I went in completely unhappy with my overly long hair and my stylist was actually willing to cut a significant amount off. By no means were they scissor happy, they just very clearly were interested in making me happy and I was! I felt like my stylist took time to make me feel comfortable, they completely took away the stress I had in struggling to find the place, they took time to really understood what issues I was having and what I wanted, and they really took their time to deliver amazing results. I'm really happy and will definitely go back for any hair service.
