| - The positives
-Wait times were very reasonable. We did go on a Wednesday, so the most time we waited in line was probably about twenty minutes including the time to get the tube from the bottom of the ride and the wait at the top. Most of the rides averaged about 10-15 minutes, with the wait time being only a few minutes right after opening to peaking around 1pm.
-Most of the staff was very courteous and professional.
-The rides were fun and the water was clean and cold.
-There were plenty areas that were shaded with chairs. There were definitely more than enough for everyone, although I can't attest to what their average daily entrance is.
-The clientele was much more mature, laid-back and courteous than other water parks I have been to. Again, maybe it was just the day I went, but I didn't run into anyone that was trying to cut in line, cussing, attempting to steal stuff, throwing rocks, or was just a low-life.
The negatives
-The ground was scalding hot, so bring flip flops or water shoes. My husband didn't and got major blistering on the bottom of his feet. We finally had to go to their shop and pay $20 for a pair of sandals. Lesson learned.
-One of the employees was in such a hurry to get our tube from us that she flipped us out of it at the end of the ride. We were trying to stand up and she keep yanking the tube around that I fell back into it and my husband fell backwards into the water. This was at the beginning of the day and there were maybe two people in line for a tube. Even so, there's no excuse for that kind of behavior.
-The nickel and diming. I know most parks do it, but charging your guests to park and charging them unreasonable amounts to rent a locker is ethically wrong. You know it and I know it. You're implying that you don't take the security of your guests seriously and you aren't willing to protect them from theft unless they pay you a minimum of $10 for a locker.
At the end of the day, I had a great time and will absolutely go back.
