| - CIAO! =)
Beautiful bruschettas.
Huge yummy paninis, decadent desserts, and great service....ah.. perfecto! =) Add in a dash of dim lights, open air, and casual jazz music and you have romance in the making!
Postino reminds me of tapas...but Italian styled. They only serve a few items on their menu ... a few appetizers, salads, soups, bruschetta, paninis, and desserts.
BRUSCHETTA is what they're known for... I agree that they are quite expensive $13 for 4 pieces of large varied bruschetta but they use some good stuff!
I ordered :
- Brie & Apples with Fig Spread -- FAVORITE! crisp tart apple contrasted with a light sweet spread, soft brie and toasty baguette. drizzled with a bit of sweetness for a perfect touch.
- Prosciutto with Figs & Mascarpone -- who knew I liked fig so much??? Delicious. Loved the light olive oil drizzle too. I appreciated that the prosciutto wasn't salty.
- Salami with Pesto -- not as unique , but still tasted great
- Fresh Mozzarella with Tomato & Basil -- -mm.. fresh~! My sister ate almost all of these...=9
hubby + sister ordered paninis ... didn't really try those but they tasted fine. didn't really leave a huge impression cuz I was concentrating on my bruschettas. my bro-in-law got a customized salad w. soup. good portions!!! The people on our next table over ordered a cheese board ... looked delicious. I'll have to order that next time I'm around!
Oh ...and wine! $5 for wine before 5pm on Sunday!
There is plenty of parking in their lot! =)
