It was a beautiful day for a walk yesterday in downtown Toronto. Our plan was to see Ripley's Aquarium. We've been to Monterey Bay Aquarium in California. I missed the amazing underwater sights. And we have one in Toronto! Go and see it!
First of all, if you plan to have lunch, walk around and go to Ripley's or anywhere in the area, don't drive and park around this block. Parking is $34.00 up to 5:00 pm. 2 hours or less is $28. Crazy!
No! we didn't take the subway. Yes! We drove downtown and park around the Esplanade area. Parking is only $12.00 from morning to 7:00pm. Don't be rushed and be worried. Use the Skywalk and directions to Ripley's. Relax and enjoy downtown.
Perfect time to go to Ripley's is after 2:00pm. No line up and less crowd. You'll appreciate every single living thing in each Aquarium without bumping other people. The best part was the Dangerous tunnel where you can step on the slow moving pathway and amazed to see the huge sharks, stingrays etc. Love it!
Then the colourful jelly fish area, seahorse were the last part but relaxing.
I highly recommend Ripley's Aquarium of Canada! Take lots of photos and videos. Because, when I got home, I realized I could have taken more. Well, I'll go back again.
