  • Just wanted to post a quick update as I'm now at 31 Weeks preggo with our first little girl and I have been seeing Dr. Wilkes at DPA the entire time (along with my regular OB). I cannot stress enough how incredibly wonderful Dr. Wilkes is. If you need a perinatal specialist, please go see him! He is so warm and caring and kind - and he is just incredibly reassuring. I always leave the office feeling good and upbeat - and that's unusual for a pessimist like myself! The rest of the staff is also wonderful - they know what they're doing and they're all very good at it. They even stay remarkably on-time considering it's a high risk clinic! I spend much less time waiting at DPA than I do at my regular doc's offices. The ultrasound techs are top notch and they explain everything to you. At this point, I really could stop seeing Dr. Wilkes and just see my regular OB but I don't want to. He has earned my trust completely and I look forward to my visits because I know he's extremely thorough and so very caring. I've seen a LOT of doctors in my life and I know how rare a find he is - so please give him a try, there really are no words for what he has done for me throughout a difficult time.
