| - I've come here twice for Justin Timberlake. Once, I sat in the top center section. The other time I sat on the floor.
Both spots are great! It was easy entrance both times I attended. I had no problems going in or finding my seat and the security check was easy and quick.
The sound is great! I love that it's a little smaller of an arena. I believe its 14,000. I had no issues with sound or visuals. I really don't think there's anything wrong with this arena other than the fact that there's no cup holders. It's not a major issue, but it's strange.
The plus about this place is that they allow you to bring in drinks! Don't come without one, so that you can avoid paying the ridiculous prices that you are usually forced to pay at concerts. Bring it in a plastic cup and you're fine. If you bring it in a glass, there's even employees at the entrance handing out plastic cups for you to pour your drink in! Where else do you get to bring in your own drinks to a concert?!
MGM sometimes offers hotel/show deals which can cause a lousy crowd sometimes. If a lot of the crowd got one of these deals, they might not be too into the artist and sit the entire time. When I saw JT the first time in the top section, everyone around us sat the entire time. I kid you not, the whole section. I had no idea why, and it was no fun. JT even asked part way through the concert, "how many of you are here because of some crazy deal from MGM?" And a bunch of people screamed. There you go.
The second time I went though (from the floor) it was great. Not even just the floor, but the entire arena was getting into it and having a blast. I think it can be hit or miss on the crowd.
All in all, it's a great arena!
