  • The stress that has been caused by the ineptitude of the staff here is obscene. From their billing practices to their customer service, 0 out of 10. Let me start with the billing practices. I had an overdue balance that had gone to collections -and I had to get it paid before I could be seen again. Totally understandable. Well the girl on the phone was more than happy to take my money for it and yes I was scheduled, but the item never came off my credit report. When I called them to have them update the collection agency, I was questioned about who took my payment? As they aren't supposed to take payments over the phone. Well, I have no freaking clue. I don't work there. All I know is that you need to update the credit agency. They gave me the runaround and after going to the credit agency and them, it's still on my credit report as an unpaid item. That will next be going to the CFPB. Now, let's talk about their "customer service". So I'm going through my first pregnancy. I woke up one morning puking, unable to hold anything down. After 3 attempts to get a hold of Sylvia, a medical assistant, I had heard nothing back. It wasn't until 2 PM that the my husband had had enough and had to personally demand that something be called in to the pharmacy for me. 6 HOURS of being completely ignored and had it been longer I would have had to go to the ER for fluids. All because they simply don't care about their patients. I get that pregnant women may not be the most pleasant to deal with, and I get that you have to deal with them all day. But guess what? This is my FIRST pregnancy and my FIRST time going through this. You have made my first 10 weeks a living nightmare and I really think the staff here needs to consider changing their career path to one where they don't deal with people every day. Lastly, god forbid you ever need the office to fill out FMLA paperwork for you. Not only do they charge a fee for this (which is understandable and I would have no problem paying otherwise) but they will do it half-assed and permit you NO time off outside of scheduled appointments. That means if you wake up puking then tough cookies! Because in order for them to "approve" any intermittent absences from your work, it is on you to contact the office and be ignored when you let them know that you are nauseous. Or you're exhausted. Or you have a headache. I'm not even kidding, they demand that you contact them about every tiny symptom you may feel in order for them to approve an absence so you don't risk losing your job while you're pregnant. Literally the last thing you want to worry about when you're pregnant. Needless to say, I have transferred my care to a much more competent and sympathetic office. The truly sad part is this- Dr. Dairiki is AMAZING. Her bedside manner feels like she's giving you a big warm hug. It is truly a shame that the horrid staff at her office completely overshadows her talent and kindness. Dr. Dairiki if you are reading this, I urge you to review the way your staff treats your patients. It's simply awful.
