This one is a cute little french restaurant/meat shop on Ossington. We came here on a Saturday night and were lucky to get a table for four A nice couple gave up their table for us and sat the bar. We got one of the keg tables in the front of the shop and picked a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon from the wine menu.
To start, we shared a charcuterie board that came with a basket of bread and cultured butter. My memory falls short as to what was on the board, but I do recall that there was fois gras. Bread was fresh and lived up to my bread standards. They brought more upon our request, which I think is an indicator of good service. But also, did you know that you can order charcuterie boards here for your events and picnics?
My boyfriend and I shared a sirloin steak, cooked to medium rare. However, it was a little bit cold, but the meat was tender and juicy.
Service and ambience was excellent. It was definitely a great experience to come back for.
