I've been going to Nomad Aquatics for the almost eight years, it's family owned and a great place for adults and children to learn how to swim. Children are their specialty and they have all kinds of programs for them.
I was also on the Masters program for a number a couple years and Mark Dell is just a great coach. He's taken his swim team on to win many events. This is an updated post and Mark Dell is longer an employee and although a loss I fully expect their swimming program to be strong.
Body Pump, Step and Flow classes are all taught by energetic instructors who make sure you get your money's worth in that hour. Flow is a mixture of Pilates, Yoga and Tai Chi. Everyone should take this class.
The weight room meets all of my needs with free weights and machines. It's not overwhelmingly big but works for me.
Exercise 4 Life is an outstanding program and if you are someone that has a strong desire to get back in shape and willing to sweat talk to Adam Slazer. He WILL get you in shape if you have the will to do so.
Spin Class is the only sore point with me. The spin bikes are in very poor condition. It's a very hot room but hey, who goes to a Spin Class to stay dry? If Nomad would just upgrade the bikes, it would make life a lot better.
Bottom line, great pool and well taken care of, Les Mills classes are well done!
