Jeep Liberty was dropped off for oil change, no appointment made or needed. 5 hours total. Oil change was not executed. Instead, service dept. reported to have taken 5 hours to "complete a software upgrade" as part of a recall notice.
I had previously requested an inspection, which they do for free any ways; my service tech. (Rocky?) failed to provide not only the results of the inspection but even the paperwork that corresponded to it. In trying to contact him (he had urged me to text with any questions), he failed to respond after the initial inquiry and request the material be mailed or emailed. He did clarify he had left the paperwork on his desk.
5 hour wait to get something fixed that wasn't broken.
