So I don't really drink, but have decided that 2015 is the year that I am going to work on my alcoholism. After lunching at OTB across the parking lot, we strolled over to Total Wine to see what.
I have no idea what kind of wine is what. My girlfriend and I both agreed that we have the drinking tastes of a 17 year old girl - sweet and I don't want to taste the booze. So we walked quickly through the vast wine collection and over to the stuff you can freeze in a pouch, hard ciders and the like. I quickly found the Mike's Hard Black Cherry Lemonade that I couldn't find in three separate grocery stores, they also had the Light version of it (that was worth 5 stars to me). We looked at a few random things to look up at a later date.
On the way out there was a young lady giving samples of a hard cider produced in Virginia called Bold Rock Hard Cider that was delicious, so we picked up a 6 pack to split of the Carolina Draft (crisp, slightly sweet and delicious). I appreciate the samples being available, this is not something that I would have otherwise purchased.
I thought the selection of & More (which is all I looked at) was excellent. As Joe A. said in his review, they had a lot of local beers, craft beers and singles where you can create your own 6 pack. I will definitely return when I start to run low.
