  • Herbs and Rye is more of a cocktail bar that serves steaks rather than a steakhouse that has a bar, and it is the cocktail bar that surely serves a good steak. The quailty of Ribeye steak (medium rare) was top notch. It wasn't dry aged therefore it did not have strong flavor but the steak was absolutely amazing The plate of wings (sweet thai) that was served as an appetizer was tasty and filling. It had a larger portion than expected but i dont think no one would complain extra 3 or 4 more wings. There are two reasons i gave this place 4 tars instead of 5, and one of them is because of the side. The truffle mac and cheese was very mushy. It surely tastes great but the texture could be improved. The second reason that drew me back from giving 5 star was the music. I understand that it was a cocktail bar and needed music to keep the atmosphere upbeat and alive but the music was extremely loud that it was hard to hear my own server. Overall, this place is a perfect spot for quailty steaks for an affordable price.
