I stopped in here hoping to get some awesome service and to check out new arrivals. I was greeted half heartedly at the front of the store by the guy with the top knot. I smiled back and immediately went to the right side of the store and worked my way back. Not one person asked me if I needed anything which was fine. I made my way around the store and had several items that I was planning on purchasing. As I came the left side of the store I noticed a display full of palettes I hadn't noticed. I turned the corner and noticed I was being followed by 2 leads or managers. One didn't offer me help, just a basket and I guess they thought I was about to turn the corner and walk back the other way because one of them jerked her head towards her coworker to follow me. It's extremely insulting to be thought of as a thief and to be treated as one. I know the tricks of the retail trade and especially the ones of Sephora since I'm a former cast member. If you think I'm a security issue, the you offer me help, suggestions and great client service. You don't treat me like crap. Annoyed I went to check out. The cashier was great. I told her how irritated I was and about the situation. There was another lead behind cashwrap that looked up at me as I complained and said nothing to me. Another failed opportunity to correct the situation. Maybe this Sephora is used to have a specific image come in and shop and yes I don't fit that image as I am heavily tattooed BUT the first thing you are taught in retail is you can't judge a book by its cover and that's exactly what happened here. I would avoid this Sephora if you don't look cookie cutter unless you want to be treated like a thief.
