| - All six of my bridesmaids ordered their dresses back in October 2015 (now over three months ago), and we were told the dresses could take up to 12 weeks to come in. One bridesmaid was in the store on January 7, 2016 and asked if the dresses were in. She was told no, and that the dresses were still at the warehouse. After 12 weeks of not hearing from the store, I decided to call to follow up with the orders myself. I was told by one of the girls that answered the phone that the dresses had all arrived by or before December 8, 2015.. OVER ONE MONTH AGO! None of my bridesmaids, nor myself, received a call or email stating the dresses had arrived, and my bridesmaid who checked if they were there on January 7th, was clearly lied to.
My MOH called to discuss the matter with the manager, Robert, but he was not available and she left a message for him to call her back. Not only did he not call HER back, but he called ME to discuss HER concern. I explained the situation to him. Not only did I not get as little as an apology, but I was eventually hung up on. As the manager, Robert, should have tried to help me and my bridesmaids, and instead, was very unprofessional and rude. I have been in customer service for many years, and I don't appreciate the lack of empathy and compassion they have, or don't have for that matter, for their customers. Robert was more concerned about not getting a negative Yelp review than helping a customer in need.
Robert ended up speaking with my MOH several times after hanging up on me, as he hung up on her an additional three times. Robert also threatened my MOH stating their store is armed, and they are prepared the protect themselves. UNCALLED FOR! WHAT A JOKE! How is this at all appropriate to say to a customer who is giving you business?! He then ended the conversation with my MOH stating that "Celebrations will NOT be doing the alterations on any of the dresses" and that "we can pay the remaining balance for the dresses and get them out of his store". I will not be referring any family or friends to Celebrations Bridal in the future and will not spend another penny in that store. I will also be, as well as my six bridesmaids (especially my MOH), contacting the BBB. Too bad I have to rate them with one star, as I do not believe they deserve any. Thanks for the added stress two months before my wedding!
