| - Uncomfortable everything. Don't let the sleek, upscale look fool you. Not even being directly next to the Consol Energy Center could make my stay endearing because there is no entrance from Cambria to Consol. You have to go outside and walk around the building. My husband and I are avid travelers and consider ourselves to be travel snobs, so we got sucked into Cambria's ambience. We love Priceline & I just pray the next time I name my own price for downtown that Cambria doesn't except.
The room looks warm and inviting and feels warm too. It's stuffy when we walk inside. No one turned the air on prior to our arrival which isn't typical, but has happened in other hotels for us in the same star rating. The coffee in the room tastes like dirt. The bistro coffee is better, but mediocre. In a city where Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts are on every other corner, if you want to sell coffee it better be great.
The bed is like a grandmother's old mattress. It is lumpy, to soft, and the springs creak everytime we move. The pillows are to soft, lumpy, and small.
The water pressure in the shower is the only positive I give my stay, however, the water is barely luke warm so that negates the good.
If players stay at this hotel, I'd be surprised if they don't see their trainer in the morning for a massage.
