This review is for the Dundas location. Went with a group of 8 on a Saturday night, and we had a great time! The "production quality" is low, but that's not really why you're there, is it? It was $22 each, which is a reasonable price for people in their 30s (maybe it seems expensive if you're a teen or university student?). We were really impressed with the technology, and the puzzles were just difficult enough to keep you guessing but not so hard that you couldn't figure them out. I think for the room we did -- Vampires -- eight was a great sized group. We all got to contribute and there were always people to take over if any of us got frustrated and wanted to step back for a minute.
We did, like other people have mentioned, have an issue where the mechanism on one thing wasn't working properly so we wasted time on that. But the staff gave us extra time to make up for it. And we would have ran out of time in the last room but the staff came in and gave us a hint without us asking because we technically hadn't used any of our hints.
Full disclosure, I hadn't done an escape room before, but I was very pleased with the experience.
