Ribs are probably my favorite food (right after sushi) and this place doesn't let down. We got "Le Gros" for 40$ this is such a good deal. We got to try about of everything, ribs, chicken, pork and brisket. As well as coleslaw, 2 extra sides and 2 little buns. For the sides we got sweet potatoes and fried mac and cheese balls. The sweet potatoes to my disappointment, were just entire chunks of potato... I though they were going to be fries. But the fried mac and cheese balls O.M.G! Literally balls of deep fried m&c! AMAZING those were the best thing in the tray. A MUST GET
As for the meat the ribs were fall of the bone amazing. The pork was juicy and tender, much better than I expected. The brisket was ok abit dry and too peppery for my taste. The chicken was good but apart from the crispy skin its still just chicken.
The place is a mix between fast food and restaurant. You order at the counter upfront and pay right away. Give your name and they will call you when its ready. Which I like. Unfortunately not many places to sit inside. Mostly counter space and 2 picnic tables. But I get it adds to the rustic charm.
