I had the worst experiece ever with Ashley Furniture! The only two people that are worth anything to them at this location are Larry (the Manager) and Linda (my sales lady). Here is my story:
I was so excited to get a nice new, top of the line bedroom set with a brand new king size mattress and fell in love with the one I had picked out. Linda who helped me out with everything was amazing but the ladies at the front desk couldn't be more rude. I ended up spending $5,000 on all my furniture, they said they didn't have it all in stock so I would have to wait 3 weeks. I had to take off work for the day they were delivering my furniture. Then my furniture showed up and something was broken or missing from every single piece, the delivery guys couldn't even put the bed frame together... so they ended up taking back a couple items at that time but left the rest and I was just going to talk to customer service to see what they could do... Well I went home later that night and unwrapped my mattress and it was freaking ripped!!! Nothing more could have gone wrong. I ended up cancelling my whole entire transaction, which was a nightmare and again I spoke to at least 3 customer service people over the phone that were so incredibly rude and should not be working in customer service at all. I get a call a couple days later to schedule a pick-up date, thinking it would be sometime soon... they were unable to schedule it for 2 weeks.... Now after 5 weeks of waiting for my furniture and then now waiting for them to pick up my furniture... I am beyond stressed and livid with the way this company works. They have the worst customer service. Yesterday I got a phone call so that they can tell me when they would be coming and picking up the furniture and they scheduled it from 10am-2pm on a Saturday.... how inconvenient... you would think after all of the hassle they would at least ask me when the best time frame would be and they would try and work with me considering I worked with them on the drop off date NOPE, they put it smack dab in the middle of the day... the customer service lady said that I could have someone else watch my house for the pick up... ha! funny! The last thing I am going to do is inconvenience someone else when I have already been inconvenienced enough. Also, I still haven't gotten my money back from 5 weeks ago... My friends and family will never go back to Ashley furniture ever again and I recommend anyone who reads this to think twice about it as well.
