  • I visited Alex and Ani (AH-nee) on Walnut Street in Shadyside recently in search of gifts for my mom and sister. I was greeted warmly by a pretty bangle-clad girl that helped me through my shopping experience by explaining the different meanings of the charms adorning their different products (bangles, necklaces, rings, even candles). I eventually settled on a few different bangles and a candle. I enjoyed the positive energy of the store and will likely come back for gifts for my female friends and family, especially since my mom and sister are now hooked. Guys, if you're looking for classy and affordable gift ideas for the ladies in your life, then do yourself a favor and take a trip to Alex and Ani. P.S. - Everything is made in the USA!
