ASU Gammage is a treasure. As a loyal patron of over 40 years I can say it is "not what it used to be" with a heavy heart. We saw the Book of Mormon on 11/6. During the performance several people were up and out of there seats, bringing back refreshments. I understand having to use the bathroom, or an emergency, but this was not the case. Why do they allow drinks in the theater? Is theater etiquette a thing of the past? The lady next to me spilled her wine, she was laughing so raucously. I know it is a revenue maker, however at what cost? The acoustics are still bad, and the seats and carpeting, well let's just say they are in desperate need of replacing. I hope that ASU can bring this special place back to its glory days. It would be a shame not to.
