  • One of the absolute best, must-see places in Madison!! FREE to enter the gardens and a nominal cost to enter the Conservatory (general public $2). The volunteers are amazing at maintaining and renovating and are the most involved group of people! There are so many interesting and cool events held here, both free and with a cost (peruse the "Events" tab under the web address, www.olbrich.org, for a monthly listing!!). The tranquility of so many sitting areas in secluded spots makes for a haven for soul recharging. The lovely, covered patio is perfect for a book or people watching! Lots of bike racks but car parking can be tough during a popular event or on the weekends.
