Stopped in on Christmas day to buy a bottle of champagne. Had my 18 yr old daughter with me. 20 something clerk lectured me about the store's policy not to sell alcohol if there is a minor "in your group". Um OK, I'm her dad and I'm 50, what's the problem? Response:. "well OK I will allow it this time". I guess I understand if a 21 yr old is buying liquor with a group of minors, but an old man with his adult daughter? Save your breath Skippy, there will not be a next time.
