  • Loved it. All of it. The online accessibility to prebuy tickets, the organization to divide ticket holders and non-ticket holders, and the fishies and sea cretins inside. Now, I had been planning to bring my partner here for a while. I am all for ordering tickets ahead of time to avoid lineups and henceforth saving time. I noticed timed general admission tickets were slightly discounted off an express general admission ticket. I opted for 12pm-1pm, scheduling myself to actually arrive at 11:30am, but scared I wouldn't make it in time due to overcrowding or some sort of lunch rush hour on the road. It was a good idea, as I arrived with only 8 minutes to spare before 12pm! Had I chosen the 11am-12pm, nah...not too sure they'd still let me in if I came after 12pm. Upon arrival, I saw a HUGE line, spanning further than their accessible ramp. I stood there and waited for all of 2 seconds until I noticed there was a sign for pre-ticket holders...so I left my long line and walked...past the adults, the kids, the strollers, and right into the entrance where I noticed there was no line ahead of me at all for pre-ticket holders. What?! Order your tickets ahead of time, y'all! There were people out there waiting under umbrellas to shade them from the scorching sun! So I whipped my printed receipt out and they let us in. I wasn't expecting much, but had a feeling I would eventually get bored like my visits to the ROM, OSC, and art museums abroad. Don't get me wrong. Those places are super fun and intruguing when you first arrive, but then they start to feel redundant... BUT YOU WON'T GET THIS AT RIPLEY'S. I was fully entertained for the entire 2.5 hours I was there. I saw octopus, starfish, sharks (danger lagoon is so scenic! You MUST IG that picture), experienced the interactive activities such as feeling how cold the water is, had my hand cleaned by a cleaning shrimp, played with children's water toys! It was amazing! They have the cutest little jellyfish there...and every life stage of the jellyfish growing up. I was amazed. I loved it. Come here for date day or night. Or bring your children here to let them learn and interact with other living things; both your interests will definitely be piqued. You won't regret it. Thank you Ripley's for all the fun!
