  • I've had a horrible experience with my personal trainer. I signed up for my monthly membership, which I am satisfied with the price about since I can have unlimited buddy pass and am able to use all the locations. Norm was the personal manager at the time and signed me up for the few months of training. He told me that my last day would be September 4, 2016. I am a very organized person. I have multiple jobs and busy with events, I use my calendar for absolutely EVERYTHING. Before my paperwork was done I had asked him what was the very last date that I would be charged and he told me Sept. 4th. So in my calendar, right then and there I put, last day EOS personal training charged. Come to find out October 4, 2016 hits and I get charged $136. I had an overdraft fee of $35. I called and talk to the now manager, Mark. He told me I had to call a month in advance to cancel my training. I WAS NOT TOLD THIS BY NORM. Mark told me he would contact his supervisor and to go from there. I am patiently waiting and November 4th comes and I am charged again! Three months pass and I'm still having to call and figure this out. Mark has been kind, but is limited to what he can do. I get that. I barely used my months of training and I was okay with paying for the months I signed up for. But to be charged twice without my permission is ridiculous. They have no problem taking your money, but getting it back is a fight. I've been reimbursed 1/2 payments. I've been informed they won't give me back my Sept-Oct payment because I didn't call a month advance to cancel. It would be nice to have that known from the getgo. Feeling pretty bummed with this location as this is my first year being a member. Very disappointed in how you treat customers that pay extra for training. Like I said, I barely went as is and was okay with those months charge. But for the extra months is outrageous. I've reached out to Norm and my other trainer Don (who norm just pushed me to after the 2nd session) and I got a "hey!" Response back, but when I texted them with details of my problems I didn't hear from them again. Thanks for that. They're currently at Sahara and Cimarron location now. Even if you're not gonna reimburse me in my account, at least use it towards my upcoming memberships or something. I'm feeling beyond ripped off. Moral of the story: Be careful when signing up with trainers. They're basically on a hustle for your money. I learned the hard way.
