 | - We went here one warm Montreal night, hoping to have a sweet chilly dessert that would hold us over until our next trip to this beautiful city. There was a long line-up, a scary sight at first, but our dad recommended this place to us so we knew it must be worth the wait - dad has great taste, especially in desserts! The nice girls in front of us in line took many photographs with their cellphones - I guess this must be some sort of famous establishment!
We also noticed a nice sitting area outside painted in an array of cheery colours.
Once we got into the ice cream shop, the employees were very willing to share ice cream samples with us despite the customer volume. I tried the salty butter but didn't like it enough to commit to a full scoop, so I ordered the 72 chocolate instead. Let me say, this is BY FAR the tastiest chocolate ice cream I've ever had in my life. It came to about $4 a cone with one scoop, which is a very reasonable price considering the going rate of ice cream these days, ha ha.
My partner ordered the soursop flavour on a cone. He says he thought it was good.
Everyone seemed to be getting the spiral soft serve, a mix of red (unsure of flavour) and chocolate, he says it made him wish he got that one. Maybe next time, bud!
Also, I really liked the girl in the logo. Nice touch.
We'll be back again!
