| - I had the same experience as Mary C. One star is really one too many. The receptionists were very nice. However, I also waited over an hour in the waiting room for a brusque, condescending PA who acted like it was very unpleasant to be in the same room with me. The nurse who took me back had the same manner, complaining to me about how horrible her week had been so far. The PA did not want to hear my story, took a brief look at my rash (less than 20 seconds), made a snap diagnosis, and disappeared. I was given 2 prescriptions from a specialty pharmacy. When the pharmacy called, I told them I did not want the meds if they were expensive because I was uncomfortable with the diagnosis, and I did not want to waste a lot of money. They told me one was fully covered by my insurance and the other would be $20. I paid the $20 over the phone and was sent the medications, which of course did not work at all, probably because the snap diagnosis was wrong. Now I am being told by my insurance that the "covered" drug is not covered at all all, and I owe $402.81 for this medication!!! The other medicine is not covered either, so I now owe an additional $99.40 for it!! $500 for a bunch of meds I can't even use! This whole experience was a horrible waste of my time and money! I won't be back.
