RIDICULOUS!!! We needed internet for our children's Christmas presents. We've had cox before and decided to try something new. The woman we bought our internet services from was far more worried about selling us direct tv than our internet. We were told that our internet and direct tv would be set up by technicians on December 22nd, before Christmas. Direct tv showed but centurylink did not. We waited all day and still no show. We were very patient but due to the holiday, we were not able to talk to anyone until after Christmas. Everything we bought for our children needed internet and we got NOTHING. On December 26th, we called and spoke with a supervisor named Raymond who said they would over night us a modem that was a lower service what we originally paid for to get us internet as soon as we could. December 27th, we got the modem (actually left on our door step with no knock or anything) with an activation letter that said it should be immediately plugged in and activated that day by 5pm. Once again, did not happen. We called and spoke with another supervisor (who we were later told was not even a supervisor) Jaleel, who, after MANY complications finally said he would send a technician out the next day between 8-12 to install and activate our services. December 28th, STILL NO TECHNICIAN. I'm currently on the phone with numerous customer service representatives telling me there is nothing they can do to help me. NEVER HAD WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYWHERE. Now being told I won't have internet for another week! Terrible. Stick with cox!
