| - I will start by saying this is a beautiful club, but seems to be poorly managed. I am paying $240/month for 2 adults and 1 child, however my Uncle just signed up his wife and child and they are paying $330/month. The sales are extremely competitive (maybe worse than a car salesman) and the sales representitives also get residuals on the memberships and make a % of whatever you sign up for (ex. swim lessons). Speaking of swim lessons my son was in swim lessons once a week for 1 year and still does not know how to swim. The swim lessons are an additional $50 per month on top of the membership price, so I felt they just wanted the additional money, not caring at all if my son was progressing in swim.
I think considering how much we pay the customer service should be outstanding. The front desk usually gives a little smile and a hello. The Life Cafe needs some serious work, they are extremely slow moving, cleanliness is lacking, and they have really poor attitudes if you order something a few minutes before closing. Speaking of Cleanliness lets talk about the bathroom stalls in the women's and men's locker room, they are disgusting, always having some kind of liquid stains (maybe urine, sweat or water) all over the stainless steel stalls and the tile floor. They are NEVER CLEAN looking. The Steam Room and jacuzzi are closed or broken fairly often in the locker rooms and there's usually NO rush at all to get them back up and running. I have written e-mails to express my concerns on the main website and also to direct e-mail address's and nobody has ever contacted me or responded to my e-mails.
When working out you usually see a ton of Lifetime trainers every where and nobody ever smiles or says hello. This is supposed to be a one stop shop for working out, swim, spa, salon, chiropractic, but yet everything feels so disconnected and messy.
