I have to hand it to Daniel, The Front Desk Attendant when I checked in Last Thursday evening. This fellow is a class act and it definitely shows he enjoyes his work. I watched him check in the person in front of me. He gave her his full attention and did not rush the check in process. Her time with him was all about her. I viewed this as a good sign. Then came my turn. He greeted me with a genuine smile and advised me right off the bat that he upgraded my room to a full suite with a view of the lake with concierge lounge access. I am a Hilton Diamond member, and I did not even ask him for an upgrade. I was staying here for my last night of EPIC training to be closer to the airport for my early morning flight out the next day. After I made an inquiry about transportation, he advised me about the transportation arrangements the hotel had with EPIC Training attendees that were guest of the hotel. I booked my next EPIC training to stay here because of Daniel's great information and attention to detail. I look forward to my next stay at the Hilton Madison and getting to explore the downtown area of Madison. Daniel understands what great service is all about.
