| - Love Dutch Bros. I am going to miss this place once I finalize my move up to Seattle, WA. But until then, I'm going to frequent Dutch Bros to get my cold brew coffee fix.
Folks that work here are friendly and they work fast.
The coffee here is brewed not using paper filters, so your coffee doesn't end up as bitter as some other places, and they don't use tap water (I'm looking at you, Starbucks with your overpriced coffee)...
I got a cold brew coffee, black, the last time I came here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The taste of coffee with few fillers is something to seek out in a desert environment like Phoenix where coffee snobbery really isn't a thing.
One thing that traditionally has irked me about Dutch Bros is that they're so small in size. Translation? You could be waiting in line in drive thru for a while, despite how fast the baristas work.
Another note: This is more for customers who are cyber-conscious, the card payment system here uses something similar to Square, which has some pretty tough encryption. Wanted to bring this up since I haven't seen any Yelp reviews that discuss this point, so maybe there's a general lack of awareness. However the last time I walked to this Dutch Bros I noticed some customers sitting out the front at the patio talking about how unsecure this form of payment was, so I came over and gave them my two cents coming from a cybersecurity background.
