  • Before I start this review, I want to point out that this review is for Kelly, and that I have not had my lashes done by anyone else who works at the salon. I found this lash place on groupon, and decided to try it after seeing some other people's lash extensions. I did some research and saw that a seductive lash had "so-so" reviews, but most of the bad ones were based on scheduling, so I went for it anyway. I booked online and was given Kelly as my lash girl. On the Friday before my Monday appointment, she texted me to ask if I could come at 11 instead of 11:15. I couldn't, and texted her back saying that and asking if she had other availability that day so maybe I could move my appointment around and be flexible. She never texted me back. Upon arriving at my appointment, the studio is cute and she was nice. I wouldn't say the process was painful, but it wasn't exactly pain-free either. Multiple times she either poked my eyeball with her little tool, or got glue in and/or around my eye, so that my lashes were glued together (top and bottom) in multiple areas. I asked a friend if this was normal and she said she's been getting extensions for a year and that has never happened. Kelly had to pull to get my top and bottom lashes unstuck. It wasn't exactly pleasant. That being said, I left my appointment loving my lashes- how can you not, lash extensions are amazing and they definitely didn't "look" bad. I did notice after about a week they started to overlap, fall sideways, etc... but I thought this was again, normal. The groupon included a free fiil, so I decided to go back to Kelly one more time. It was the same, poking me with the lash tool, lashes glued together, etc. I decided to try out a different lash girl the next time. SO last week i went to my lash fill appointment with a new girl who was a recommendation from a friend. Upon seeing my lashes, she said she would not be able to do a fill. She pulled one of my lashes off, and showed me that I had FIVE lash extensions glued together, and then glued to ONE of my natural lashes. The new lash lady was appalled and told me she was not comfortable doing a fill, as my lashes already were or would be damaged from all the weight from the prior lash extensions. Natural lashes are not strong enough to hold 5 lash extensions, and will cause them to break. She recommended I get the lashes removed and then start over with a brand new fill. Now, I was of course happy I went to someone who knows what she is doing and was looking out for my lash health, but I'm extremely mad due to the following... 1. I was getting my lashes filled for a wedding in which I am the maid of honor. Since I have to get the lashes off and start over, I will not be able to have the lashes on for the wedding. This is a big event, and something I would have actually wanted lash extensions for. 2. I had to pay money to get the lashes removed, when it wasn't actually my fault and/or that I wanted to get them off- only that I had to, due to the fact that I had groups of 4 or 5 lashes glued to each of my natural lashes. 3. I now have to pay even MORE money to get another FULL set, when I only should have had to pay for a fill. 4, My natural lashes MAY be damaged from the weight of my last extensions. I typically do not write terrible reviews, but it is not ok to do such terrible work on someone, that could cause damage to their natural lashes. Lesson learned for me, I will be asking more questions next time. As a note to the salon, please do not call text or message me. I am not interested in coming back in.
