  • Staying at the Rio for the World Series of Poker and being Guy fans we were excited to try this place. After a painfully long wait we were seated and anticipated a great meal. Started with smokey chipotle salsa and chips. First bite and we all just looked at each other. Maybe we're purists but this salsa version just didn't work. Garlicky, weird. Chips were almost too hard and too thick. Guacamole was good. I had the cheese enchiladas. I don't know. It was all just forgettable. Our server was older and awkward. She seemed out of her element. I question the hiring. Part of our order was messed up and the manager came over and fixed it but it was just one of those nights out where it felt like a cold engine in an old car on a snowy saturday morning that struggled to start. We left completely unimpressed. Sorry Guy. We're still huge fans but man this place just missed on all levels.
