Classic American cuisine leaving you with a memorable experience...
We haven't been here in over 10 years, not sure why? I've forgotten how great this place is!
I love that they've kept their traditions all these years and when you walk in it really does feel like you're stepping back in time.
The Art Deco decor. The oversized green velvet booths. The chilled salad forks given to you for their famous spinning salad. The uniforms worn by all employees. The beautiful silver carts making their way around the entire restaurant. The spice blend created by the owner that goes great sprinkled over pretty much everything. The food is simple and simply delicious.
Get the prime rib, this is what they're known for. I enjoyed the English cut offering thinner pieces and I love all the sides. Buttery mashed potatoes with gravy are decadent and go very well with the creamed corn that's ultra sweet and the bacon & onion creamed spinach. Your meal also comes with Yorkshire pudding which is a fluffy delight and perfect for soaking up all the au jus on your plate.
They pride themselves with their service and have been going strong since 1938! Clearly this place is doing something right.
