| - If you have an anxious teenager, ready to deposit his or her first paycheck ever to the bank, then you know how impatient one can get. :0
This Bank of America happened to be the closest one to us at that time, so we parked and walked in. There was a gentleman greeting customers, who asked us about our needs. He signed us up to meet a banker who could assist us and open a new account. He told us the wait would be about 45 min. This schedule did not appease the impatience of my teen, so we kindly asked him for other BOA locations that might have a shorter wait, he gladly searched for us, but it would have been about same time at other nearby locations so we ended up staying.
It had only been 15 minutes when our banker, Mr. David Van Vorce took us to his office. He was professional, very knowledgeable and humorous. Teaching this young account holder what to do and more importantly what not to do...by giving many different situations and examples that very well may happen. He also showed us BOA's new mobile app services, and admittedly, I learned as well.
Banking is not exactly a fun thing to do, but it is certainly a necessity...so I was glad we encountered such a professional and knowledgeable staff at BOA. At the end of our visit, the Bank Manager came and asked us our satisfaction level and provided additional assistance....wow, at this point, we were very impressed with the service.
We walked out with certain level of accomplishment and little more knowledgeable for new technologies.
