I was there today to look for a cat. I found the woman in charge to be very rude to both potential adopters and the volunteers. The cats do not look that well taken care of - some of them had dried blood on them that had not been cleaned and most were sitting in their litter boxes which is a sign of either being scared or insecurity. Also, the blankets and stuff in the cages for the cats all looked very dirty. This place depressed the hell out of me and I would not go back there again. I then went to the SPCA where I had the exact opposite experience - everybody very nice and welcoming. The cats are not in cages - free to wander around and much more social. You can sit on the floor and have the cats come over to you or go around and see each one. You don't have to look at one at a time like at the Animal Foundation. Also, the cats are better taken care of and look a whole lot better. The Animal Foundation should clean up their act and be a little nicer to potential adopters.
