  • I lived in Las Vegas for a whopping three days before my 2012 Civic got sideswiped by a cab at an intersection. It needed some body work and to be realigned. Geico had a list on their website of places I could take my car to get it fixed, so naturally I took it to wherever it could be fixed soonest. Unfortunately, it was this place. However, I didn't go into this blind, I read reviews on this very website and saw that they were kind of spotty; but I couldn't look at my dented in door another day. Dropping it off was easy and the Geico rep was super nice and friendly; they told me it would take about 7 days to get it fixed. Cool, that sounds reasonable. I then went over to the Enterprise location (on-site) and got my rental car set up with no problems. A few days after, things started going downhill. They weren't contacting me with updates at all. Instead, they were contacting my mother (similar phone number, yes, but I corrected that before they even took it in) with general automatic updates. Day 7 rolls around and SHOCKINGLY, they're not done. They call me a few days later (day 10, now) and I contact them and they tell me it's ready; I should note, in this whole process, I controlled all the communication, I don't believe they ever reached out to me with information. Anyway- I'm excited. I'm tired of driving a Kia Soul that my friends and I mockingly called "Brown Sugar." I just want my car back. Finally- there it is, finished! This debacle is over and I can get back to my life. But nope. I put the key in the ignition and the check power steering light is on. That's odd, it's never been on before. I thought maybe it was just a fluke because they had to fix the alignment. Nope. My steering wheel was almost immovable. I went back inside and Hillary came back out with me again, and explained to me that this was a preexisting issue, and that they contacted Geico who told them not to fix it. She continues, saying I could just get power steering fluid for it; that some cars don't even have power steering. She opened my hood and literally pointed out to me where power steering fluid goes, and then points to where I got hit. If my car was drivable, I would have left then and there. This obviously wasn't a preexisting issue. They let me take the rental car back because the technician left for the day. I call the next day and apparently they had to take it to a Honda dealer to get it looked at or whatever. The weekend and most of the week passes and I decide to contact them again, maybe it'll be ready. It's not. They need more time. We're on day 14 now. That weekend I was going home to Chicago so I had to return the rental car and just pick my car up when I got back. I call them the Monday I got back. Apparently they called me on day 15 telling me it was ready, but I received no such call. So I go in to pick it up later that day (day 17). The body work was fine and I signed what I needed to and left. Hillary told me the power steering issue was "just electrical". That made absolutely zero sense but I knew I should just keep my mouth shut. At this point, I was just happy to have my car back. I'm literally half a mile from the shop when I notice that my alignment is literally exactly the same as how it was, unfixed. There was no point in going back that day, as they closed in like 20 minutes. So I went back 2 days later to get it fixed. I got there around 4 (they close at 5:30) and explained the situation and pointed out a few paint issues they missed. Hillary acts shocked that it isn't fixed, and drives it to see if it was actually a problem. She tells me it would take 30-45 minutes to be done. Knowing that probably wouldn't be the case, I cancelled my 5:30 nail appointment. Finally around 5:45, my car is finished. Hillary tells me that the scratch on the mirror I pointed out wasn't from my accident, and that it was previously touched up. Again, I figured I should just shut my mouth, so I took my keys and left. Here we are, about a month and a half later, and my alignment still isn't 100% fixed. It took them over 17 days to complete a job that was originally supposed to take a week. This shop is a poor excuse for a business; they don't know how to communicate to their customers who are paying them A LOT of money; their employees are rude and ignorant.
