The best cronut I have had.
I am not surprised by this given the passion Montreal has for bread and pastries, which in my experience, is un-matched on this continent. Stumbling upon the cronut in a foodie city like Montreal was serendipity as the trend hasn't spread much beyond the NYC/LA area.
$5 for a pastry may seem expensive. But it is very inexpensive for ten minutes of pure bliss. The man behind the counter was pleasant and good-humored about the intensity of my excitement upon finding a cronut in Montreal. I will most certainly be back.
